We're hiring
Join a small, focused team making wearable voice AI a reality. Every role matters. All positions are open remotely or in-person at our Springfield, Missouri office.
You'll work across the full product stack — from the embedded firmware running on the badge to the cloud APIs and the web interfaces our customers use every day. Our stack spans C for on-device code, Python for backend services and data pipelines, TypeScript for our web front ends, Kotlin for Android, Swift for iOS, and HTML/CSS for marketing and product UIs. You'll ship features end-to-end, own your work from design to deployment, and collaborate directly with the hardware team to make the software and silicon work together seamlessly.
You'll be the bridge between our product and the customers who need it most. You'll work closely with our sales team to run technical discovery calls, build custom demos, and handle complex RFPs across our core verticals — warehousing, retail, hospitality, construction, manufacturing, farming, dispatch, education, and insurance. You understand what floor supervisors, site foremen, hotel managers, and dispatch coordinators actually need, and you know how to show them exactly how Connection solves it. You'll also feed real-world customer pain back into the product roadmap.
You'll be the first voice our customers hear when they need help — and we take that seriously. You'll handle inbound support across email, chat, and phone, troubleshoot badge setup and connectivity issues, help customers configure their groups and AI personas, and escalate technical issues to engineering with precision. You have a knack for explaining complex tech in plain language, you stay calm under pressure, and you genuinely care about leaving every customer better off than when they reached out. Experience with consumer electronics or SaaS support is a plus.
You'll design, simulate, and validate the electronics at the heart of the Connection badge. That means schematic capture, PCB layout for compact wearable form factors, power management design for multi-day battery life, RF circuit work for WiFi and Bluetooth, and audio front-end design for the microphone array and speaker. You'll write and execute detailed test plans, work with contract manufacturers on bring-up and DFM, and iterate quickly through prototype cycles. Bonus if you've designed electronics that survived real-world abuse — dust, drops, and weather are part of our product's life.
You'll own the automated test suite that keeps Connection's APIs reliable as we ship fast. You'll write Python-based test frameworks covering our REST APIs — authentication, user management, recordings, transcriptions, AI summaries, group management, and billing — as well as the CBBP (Connection Badge Binary Protocol) APIs that run directly on the hardware. You'll design test cases from spec, catch regressions before they reach customers, build CI pipeline integrations, and work side-by-side with developers to make quality everyone's responsibility. Experience testing embedded or hardware communication protocols is a strong plus.
We're always interested in exceptional people. Send us a note and tell us what you'd build.
